Introduction to Psychology

Students discover the field of psychology through an engaging, active learning approach. Assignments help students apply research in psychology to develop their study habits, science literacy, and communication skills.


Personality Psychology

Students learn about how individuals differ from one another according to a variety of historical and modern theoretical perspectives. Activities build critical thinking skills and apply course material to students' own personalities.


Fundamentals for Teaching Assistants

Graduate students in their first semester of teaching learn how to teach effectively and receive personalized feedback about their teaching. Students create a course community by helping each other troubleshoot experiences in their classrooms.


Psychological Methods and Statistics

Lab Section Instructor

Students apply statistical concepts in weekly labs and conduct a research project on a topic of interest. As lab instructor, I taught R coding and designed activities to scaffold students' preparation for the research project and other assessments.
