Mentorship

I truly enjoy working with undergraduate students to develop their research skills and prepare them for the next steps in their careers. I have participated in several organized mentorship programs, as well as given talks to student groups on professional development topics (e.g., research paths in psychology, how to collaborate with a mentor).

See some highlights from these experiences below!

Selected mentorship experiences:

My cohort of mentees in the Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program (URAP) at UT Austin earned an Honorable Mention in the 2024 Texas Student Research Showdown for this video showcasing their work in our lab!
My mentees Maheshwari (pictured) and Sierra presented their original research projects in a poster symposium as part of the Psychology Undergraduate Mentorship Program (PUMP) at UT Austin
